Meet Dr. Daryn Derstine

Sight is a precious gift and is often taken for granted. Dr. Derstine is committed to providing comprehensive care that will preserve this gift over a lifetime. He understands that one of his most important roles is to educate so that patients will be equipped with the necessary information to make sound decisions about their vision and their eyes. Dr. Derstine strives to take the time to understand each patient’s visual needs in order to help them achieve clear and comfortable vision in every aspect of their lives. He stays up to date with the latest technologies for eyeglasses, contact lenses, and surgical vision correction.

Dr. Derstine grew up in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and attended optometry school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  He fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and has been calling it home for over 20 years.  With his wife, three kids, and dog, he enjoys exploring the many great outdoor options the PNW has to offer.
